This region is located on the north of Nairobi and is the heartland of the Kikuyu tribe; the largest tribe in Kenya with Nyeri as its administrative headquarter. The area is fertile with panoramic tea and coffee plantations as you drive past. Major attractions include Mt Kenya National Park, Aberdares National Park, Nanyuki, Thomson’s falls Thika pineapple plantations, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
