This part of the country border both Somalia and Ethiopia. The region though offers little tourist activity has vast wilderness, desert or semi-deserts. Travellers are advised not to travel towards the Somali border due to insecurity. Remember to aim at reaching your destinations before dark in most parts of the province. Accommodation can be found in towns like Marsabit and Wajir.
